The Arizona Republic
The search continues for a missing Gilbert woman who relatives say is a responsible and well-respected person.
Anne Carver, 34, went missing on Monday morning after a jog with her dog in a neighborhood near Queen Creek and Greenfield roads, where she lives.
Neighbors told Gilbert Police they found her dog wandering around in the neighborhood around 5:30 a.m. with its leash still on.
Police do not suspect foul play, but are investigating aggressively, an official said.
Police were using K-9 dogs belonging to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office for the search.
Friends and family also searched the area both on foot and on horseback.
Tyler Williams, her older brother, said Carver had only lived in Gilbert for about a month.
She previously lived in Phoenix but was looking for a new home, he said.
The house she lives in now belongs to her parents and is also home to her brother Tyler and his family.
"We're a close family," he said.
Carver's younger brother, Aaron Williams, described his sister as a caring woman and a good communicator who is very motivated about fitness.
The brothers said Carver is not married.
They said so far they've received a lot of help and support from family and friends who are assisting in the search.
"We're very worried and scared," Aaron said. "This is what we think to be a very safe neighborhood."
Neighbors also said they are concerned about Carver's disappearance. Some have even joined the search.
Lisa Campbell, a neighbor, said she is hoping for the best.
"We're helping with prayers," she said.
Anyone with information is asked to call Gilbert Police at 480-503-6500 .

I have a "labradoodle" she probably had a "maltypoo" Wait..... I don't even take my dog, but I have it all planned out, I will tell them I have aids, herpes and I will pick my nose as he attacks me, it will sure to make them back away... unless he is cute.

Well, that would keep me from attacking you! Try throwing up on them too! I actually think she had a big dog!
It's just so close to you - BE CAREFUL! Got mace???
Sandy
No I don't! I was just telling C that I need to get some of that. I will keep the puke in mind though.

Have they found her yet? That does it, I was gong to start walking in the mornings with Cooper but not now :) I may have to borrow my neighbors Mastiff :)
Janine
Nope - not found yet! Taking Cooper would be like taking Willow! No help! He'd lick them to death!
Sandy
Or try to hump them to death, LOL
I read this morning in the paper that she returned home around 1:00 am this morning but no other details were given
Janine
