Who posted that? We could all post "evidence" of each side saying it about the other - but that's hardly evidence.

Well, the Bush admins may have been in charge, but I'm sure there was also pressure from the chairmen of the congressional committees, and they are all dems.

Also too I betcha! He is totally not a fiscal conservative and I agree, he put stuff out there that stifled the conservatives and went along with all the big government, big spending liberal agenda. You sure as hell know Republicans would not have wanted poor people to have houses!!! We are so mean spirited that way!
But yall give Bush too much credit. The President, any President, really doesn't control a lot of this shit. Which is always one of the funny things when either side makes promises - they can't deliver in oh so many ways - That's why we have three levels of government - for the checks and balances - which obviously don't always work.
and that children is our civic's lesson for today!
I will just be happy to keep my own fucking house because the values are going so low we are like $100,000 upside down and our adjustable will adjust soon and then OMFG! can't refinance cuz no equity.
